AMSTERDANS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION 

Mathis Joubert a interprété un solo dans son propre style de danse, « The Balletbreak », et a remporté le prix du "Best Talent" lors du concours international Amsterdans.

Amsterdans est l'un des concours de danse les plus prestigieux des Pays-Bas, attirant des talents du monde entier. Il propose diverses catégories et niveaux de compétition, incluant la danse classique, la danse contemporaine et d'autres styles de danse.

Suite à sa prestation remarquable, Mathis a été invité par de nombreux directeurs et chorégraphes à rejoindre leurs écoles et stages d'été. Parmi eux, Igal Perry lui a offert une bourse complète de deux ans pour suivre la formation au Peridance Capézio Center à New York.

Les dates : 29, 30 avril & 1er mai, au Chassé Dance Studio & Theatre - Compagnie Theatre.

Mathis Joubert won 1st place in the national competition organized by Carrefour and Jamel Debbouze, receiving a 20,000€ award to develop his project The Balletbreak.

This large-scale initiative, created to support emerging talents across France, brought together more than 220 candidates from both artistic and professional fields. During the public voting phase, held online and across 115 Carrefour hypermarkets, Mathis’ project immediately stood out, ranking first nationwide with thousands of votes, securing his place among the 20 finalists.

He then confirmed this success at the grand final held at L’Élysée Biarritz on the Champs-Élysées, where the finalists presented their projects before a prestigious jury chaired by Jamel Debbouze and Éric Bourgeois (Director of Carrefour Hypermarkets).

Mathis presented The Balletbreak and won first place overall, receiving the top award and a grant to support the development of his project.

The jury included leading figures from business, cinema, media, and entertainment, such as:

Mathis was unanimously selected as the winner, receiving the top award and national recognition for his innovative artistic concept The Balletbreak.
Mathis Joubert won the 2nd Prize for Senior Contemporary Solo at the prestigious Prix d'Europe.

Following the competition, numerous directors, choreographers, and teachers offered him various professional opportunities: a tour in China, a contract with the Jeune Ballet Européen, a private audition with the Ballet National de Marseille II, as well as a full scholarship for the autumn program at the École Nationale de Danse de Marseille.

The International Dance and Music Competition "Prix d'Europe", organized annually by the AEAFC Association (Artistic Exchange between France and China), is officially supported by the Embassy of China and numerous French and Chinese partners. The event takes place every year at the Théâtre du Gymnase Marie Bell in Paris.

The jury of the competition included renowned figures from the world of dance, including:

This competition was organized by the renowned dance brand Capezio, the global leader, in collaboration with the prestigious Danza In Fiera International Festival in Italy. As the winner of the first prize, Mathis Joubert won an all-expenses-paid trip to London, where he had the unique opportunity to meet the Capezio team and promote his own dance style, "The Balletbreak".

Danza In Fiera is the largest and most important international event dedicated to dance, held annually in Florence, Italy. Over 20,000 dancers perform on stage, while 17 international competitions showcase talent from around the globe.
